showers is a very nice slow song and its very calming to listen to it I would
enjoy listening to this song to after a stressful day to calm myself down. When
listening to it how the song is slow and how the instruments are higher in
pitch it makes it happy but calming. I enjoy listening to it even the message
of the lyrics has a happy meaning to it. He talks about how in the beginning
that you shouldn’t miss the sun giving way to April showers. Then later in the
song it talks about how the showers bring the flowers that bloom in May. Then
says "so if it's raining have no regrets". When reading the lyrics and
listening to the song it gives me the impression that he wants people to see
the positive of the rain and how it brings a beautiful season. One of the
messages that you can take away from this song is that sometimes the bad has to
happen for the case of this song that would be the rain. For something good to
happen which is the beautiful flowers that bloom from the rain.

I love the perspective you give about having no regrets. Sometimes it is important to remember that we have to go through and know the bad to be able to appreciate the goodness! I also like how you mentioned the song was calming. I understand where you’re coming from. It is a nice song to listen to after a long day.
ReplyDeleteI totally see what you are saying. You have to embrace the bad for the good to have any meaning. There is always a positive outcome from everything that happens no matter how small it may be. The song was really good, I liked it a lot too. It felt very calming and peaceful.

I agree with you on it being a relaxing song as well as that it has a deeper meaning behind the lyrics. Interesting how much thought goes into songs from these composers to get their message across.
